The Colombia part makes sense immediately and calling the village 'Encanto' makes as much sense as the rest of it, certainly. But it takes his brain to fully process 1951 and when it does, he blinks,
"I... think I might be from the future," he says, simply, as though it's just another problem to overcome, another piece of the equation. "And I definitely didn't teleport myself through space and time, but I imagine you'd call what I can do magic."
Personally, he doesn't see much connection between himself and a lot of the actual mages in his own place and time, but he does understand that that's mostly semantics.
