When I came home everyone was unresponsive, like I was in September. They're awake, now. I'm not alone, at least.

INLAND EMPIRE - (There is nothing worse than an empty home. Deafening negative space where people should be. Everytime you walked into your apartment it was like she left you all over again. His bed is empty so you sleep on it.)

[He has to stop for a moment and think--he's terrible at answering this kind of question, because he always defaults to saying he's fine, he doesn't need anything. Truth is, even though he can't speak for the others, he himself isn't 'fine.'
But he doesn't really know what he needs.]
I don't know. Maybe some company. We could meet somewhere?
[A quick glance at a clock tells him it's pretty much nighttime, now, so it's safe to go out. He sends the locations of a couple spots relatively near to the castle.]
I'm good, I've eaten.
[Which... isn't entirely true, but he's done so recently enough that he's got a couple more days to Not Think About It before it starts to gnaw at him.]
